In the last three consecutive congresses, Kyrgyz honey won several awards at Apimondia International Federation of Beekeepers’ Association. Exports of Kyrgyz honey is growing each year; today, it has been exported into over 20 countries. In 2018 it has officially arrived into the US market.
Most of Kyrgyzstan territory is located in the Tian-Shan mountains, an isolated and diverse ecosystem with over 2,500 plant species. Such verity of plants gives our honey its unique multiflowered composition, which comprises of sage, sweet clover, thyme, safflower, sainfoin, clover, dandelion, goldenrod, kiprei, mint, oregano, edelweiss, dog rose, barberry, currant, mountain ash, juniper, rosehip, honeysuckle, blackberry, and barberry.
Our Issyk-Kul honey takes its name from the famous alpine lake Issyk-Kul, the second largest mountain lake in the world. Mountains surrounding the lake are home to wide verity of plant species. Most of the honeys from this region, is the multiflower honey, collected in the high-altitude meadows. This honey creates a unique bouquet of wild flowers which you will experience through its texture, aroma, taste.
