The 2-Ingredient Marinade For EVERYTHING

That’s right, everything. Red Meat, Pork, Poultry, Fish, Tofu, Tempeh, even Jackfruit. Prep this whole recipe in one bag and marinate overnight!

• Add a half-pound of sliced citrus for every pound of meat or meat substitute.
• Hand-juice the citrus into your bag, then thickly slice and add the remaining peel. We prefer a combo of half oranges and half lemons, but try all lemon for fish, oranges and limes for Mexican dishes or all limes for Thai recipes.
• Add a crushed clove of garlic for every pound of meat or meat substitute.
• Peel and gently smash the garlic with the flat of a knife. Shake the bag of ingredients up and leave in the fridge overnight. When you’re ready to stir-fry, broil, bake or BBQ, just remove the peels and go for it! Prepare for immortal fame.
• For bonus foodie points, you can zest the colorful surface of your peels, throwing away the bitter white pulpy bits and cook the juice and zest down into a glaze. YUM!
