Ideally suited for Stainless Steel Tumbling Media in a wet rotary tumbling system, it can be used in a magnetic tumbler, and some have had excellent results in an ultrasonic cleaner. Since everyone has a different setup, we provide suggestions on where to begin, but you'll eventually find what works best in your situation.
The powdered nature of the detergent makes it as concentrated as possible without dilution. In addition, the chemicals used in Brass Shine are designed to clean your brass as thoroughly as possible in the least amount of time. Using products like dish soap will give you average results with a ton of foam to clean up afterwards.
Do it right the first time: use Brass Shine for consistently excellent and predictable results with the shortest amount of clean up time.
Directions for Proper Cleaning
- Using the included scoop, reference the suggested dosages below for how much detergent is needed to thoroughly clean your brass
- Use warm/hot water
- Do not overload your tumbler as your brass will require additional cleaning cycles and premature motor failure may occur
- If excessive foaming occurs, use less detergent next time
- Once brass is clean, rinse by hand, or run a clean water rinse cycle
