Advanced Carbon Blocks

PURELINE and the OEM use advanced carbon blocks. An advanced carbon block utilizes three methods of filtration, mechanical filtration, electro-kinetic adsorption, and physical adsorption. Mechanical filtration is the water passing through the pores of the carbon block, contaminants getting trapped, and not being allowed to travel with the water as it passes through the rest of the carbon block. Advance carbon blocks are made with active coconut to allow the carbon block to develop a positive ion charge to pull the pollutants out of the water via their negative ions. Physical adsorption pulls remaining pollutants.

Why do PURELINE filters cost more than other generic filters on the market?

PURELINE realizes the harm that ineffective filters can cause to your health and spends the extra money to manufacture a filter the same quality as the OEM (brand name filter). Our filters have an advance carbon block with micropores 0.18 mm (0.5 microns) that remove all contaminants to ensure clean, contaminant free, and great tasting water.

How often will I need to change my PURELINE filter?

We recommend our filters be changed after every 300 gallons of use or every 6 months in order to ensure continual maximal reduction of contaminants in your water.

Is your filter better than the OEM (brand name filter?

No. Our filter is just as good as the OEM. What makes a filter is the carbon block inside of it. Brand names use advance carbon blocks that implore three levels of filtration; mechanical filtration, electro-kinetic adsorption, and physical adsorption. Our filters are manufactured to match the standards of the OEM. The only difference between PURELINE and the OEM is that we do not charge the brand name tax.

What if I'm having trouble installing my filter?

You should not be. Our filters are easy to install and come with step by step instructions. However, do not worry as we are here to help you if for whatever reason you cannot figure out how to install our filters.
