Youngstown Glove offers a variety of waterproof winter work gloves to meet your needs when the weather turns nasty. We build our winter gloves to keep your hands warm and dry in winter conditions.

These are work gloves and designed to offer working dexterity in the fingers. A challenge with winter gloves is the design struggle between warmth and dexterity. The layering and insulation required to provide warmth can also limit dexterity. We believe that we have created the right balance.


3M Thinsulate We use 3M Thinsulate in our winter gloves to enhance the warmth throughout the work day. Most models feature 60g, and our extra warm XT model features 200g of 3M Thinsulate.	Rugged, Reinforced Palms Most models feature heavy duty non-slip reinforcement throughout the palm, fingers and thumb. We cover all the critical wear areas in order to enhance the durability. We leave the flex spots uncovered to maintain our high standards of dexterity.	Waterproof & Windproof We attached a waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane inside the glove. This membrane is layered between the outer glove and the inner insulation and liner. The membrane prevents winter's wetness from reaching your hand.	Terry Cloth Brow (Nose) Wipe A favorite bonus feature of the Youngstown winter gloves is the terry cloth we sew on top of the thumb. Originally designed as a sweat wipe our customers wipe not only sweat but goggles and noses.

Like Youngstown's other winter models, this glove is 100-Percent Waterproof and Windproof thanks to our triple layer technology. In addition to the form-fit outer shell there is a waterproof and windproof inner membrane and warm fleece that rests against your hand. This triple layer combination blocks all wind, cold, rain and wetness from reaching your hand. This Slip Fit model features and easy on-off slip fit cuff. The palm is made of one layer of synthetic leather. The single layer nature of this palm is designed to maximize dexterity while still offering the waterproof technology. The top of hand is made of a stretch fabric to ensure a snug fit on a wide variety of hand sizes. Finally, the top of the thumb is made with terry cloth so you can comfortable wipe away sweat and debris from your face and brow. Although Youngstown is known for our heavy duty work gloves, the beauty of our winter gloves, is that they function for both winter work and winter recreation.
