Discovered in 1994, The Chauvet-Pont-d'Arc Cave in France revealed to the world a glimpse of what our earliest ancestors lives may have consisted of. It also revealed that catchy art can last! Most of the drawings were of predatory animals like cave lions, panthers, bears, and cave hyenas. There were also paintings of rhinoceroses. We’re thinking these artists may have lived peacefully with these animals and they were not lunch. Sort of like the person that has a picture of their dog printed on a t-shirt and wears it around town, these people captured their own pets in a drawing.
Here at Middle of the Road we’ve created our designs to also last 30,000 years and hopefully in 30,000 years someone will discover one of our products and be amazed at the detail, quality, and our way of life. Enjoy your purchases!
How the color change mug works!
Step 1.
Buy the mug.
- When the mug is empty and/or does not have any liquid in it over room temperature the mug will appear black as shown.
Step 2.
Fill the mug with hot liquid!
- For the mug to transform and show the image simply add any hot liquid of your choice. We prefer coffee, because we need to stay caffeinated to make these awesome designs, but you can add anything you like! The moment hot liquid hits the bottom of the mug your image will start to display as shown.
Step 3.
Enjoy your drink!
- Once your mug is full to the top with your favorite liquid you now see the awesome full design. Enjoy your drink and the view!
