We are trying to build the encoder as easy as 1,2,3 but still hope you can read our user manual before starting your diy actions.
It's very important! Connect Joystick's 5Pin cable to the 5Pin slot that opposite the USB-B terminal. A lot people connect the joystick to the wrong 5Pin slot.
There is no need separate the button's functions when you connect wire to push buttons and encoder board exept you want add " Auto-Fire", " Tubro", "Clear" & " Mode" Functions.All the fight button functions can be set in MAME or RetroPie. "Auto-Fire", "Tubro","Clear" & "Mode" Functions have its own slot on the encoder board.

About the Arcade Joystick This is a 4 & 8 way switchable joystick. You can switch the restrictor from 8 way to 4 way by switch the inner ring. We default set the restrictor as a 8 Way joystick due to most games using 8 way Joystick. Please connect the joystick to the correct 5Pin slot on the encoder board. About the joystick specification. Please read the data bellow.	About the Arcade Buttons Every package will including 16 Piece Bigger Size Buttons plus 4 Piece Smaller Size Buttons. Usually, For a single player, people will use 6 ~ 8 piece bigger size buttons as fight buttons & will use 2 smaller buttons as start player button & coin button. Red & Blue Color is the most popular color for a 2-player game console cabinet.	About the Encoder Board The new version encoder board have already update the usb cable slot as USB-B type to avoid cable damage on the shipping. Updated two red 5V power output design for led buttons or led joysticks. Attention: There are 2 5Pin Slots on the encoder board. But only the slot opposite the USB-B is used for joystick.
