The 2 plies are combined with an exclusive Sound Shaping Technology (SST) to offer tailored dampening for every individual tom head. The Sound Shaping Technology is combined with the Level 360 collar design to create a head that is easy to tune and delivers a balanced and focused attack. The coating is uniquely translucent and provides additional warmth and depth.

The EC2 Clear tom head is also made up of 2 plies of 7 mil film. With the Sound Shaping Technology (SST) providing a tailored dampening to each head, the EC2 offers a 'pre-EQ'd sound across the entire drum kit. The Level 360 technology on the collar design ensures balanced contact with the bearing edge of the drum shell for improved resonance and tuning range. With 2 plies the EC2 Clear heads provide a refined tone and exceptional durability.
