Step by Step Installation Guide:
- Gather the tools you need. At the very least, you’ll need a flathead screwdriver, but for some vehicles, you might need a hex key or a socket wrench.
- Consult your vehicle’s manual to determine how to access the headlights. Some vehicles allow for easy access, while others require the removal of some parts, such as the grill, battery, or engine cover.
- Disconnect the headlights from the car. This means locating the screws or clips holding the lights in as well as disconnecting the wiring.
- If you are replacing your bulbs as well, install them in new headlights.
- Install the new headlights. Fix the new headlight into place the same way that the old ones were attached and make sure that the screws or clips are secure. Connect the wiring to the headlights.
- Replace everything you removed in step 2.
- Test your headlights. Some headlights may need adjustment, in which case you will need to locate the adjuster screw on the headlights themselves and rotate in the necessary direction.
