STEEL
Molybdenum-Vanadium (MOVA). It´s a classic steel in our Knives and folding Knives. A excellent combination of Molybdenum and Vanadium, with double heat treatment for 56-58 HRC, that is highly stain resistant, though and particularly resistant to corrosion. Maintain their sharpness for a long time and it is easy to sharpen.
BÖHLER N690 Cobalt. N690 Böhler Steel is extremely fine grained creating a blade that will retain its sharpness when subject to periods of use. By adding cobalt, an extremely unusual alloying element, the steel creates an uncommon uniformity providing a fine and consistent edge, enhancing edge retention and sharpening receptivity. Hardness range of 59-61 HRC.
SANDVIK 12C27. Sandvik's most well-rounded knife steel with excellent edge performance allowing razor sharpness, high hardness, exceptional toughness and good corrosion resistance. With a hardness range of 54-61 HRC, it is the recommended grade for bushcraft knives.
