Printed Rugs Our printed rugs typically begin with a tufted 'blank canvas' of white Wear-Dated Nylon or Smartrand Sorona/Triexta pile. The tufted base is then sent to add color and design with our exclusive print process. The printer palette holds 12 colors that can be sprayed adjacent to each other to mix and form additional colors for 72 options total. After printing, steam and heat set the dye for a colorfast finished product.	Wear-Dated Fiber Produced under the Mohawk Industries brand name, Wear-Dated, nylon is by far the most prevalent fiber used in commercial carpeting and area rugs. Known for its durability and resiliency against matting and crushing caused from every day wear-and-tear, nylon rugs are recommended for high traffic areas. Nylon is stain resistant and can be easily cleaned with a solution of mild detergent and water.
