The MNR12082-8 8 channel NVR is equipped with an incredible Quad-Core embedded processor capable of recording 4K resolution video in real time (30 frames per second) on all 8 channels. 2K & 4K resolution brings greater details to your video, and allows you to utilize the extra resolution when you need to identify finer details, such as faces and license plates. 4MP 2K resolution is 2688x1520 pixels vs. 2MP 1920 x 1080 pixels, the more pixels gives you the ability to have further digital zoom, without pixelating the image as much.
Our camera records real-time at 30FPS in 2K 4MP resolution. This ensures you have the recording speed to record and view fluid movement on the screen, as it is real-time.

The 4 included MTT4104 2K IP turret cameras are equipped with the latest 2K resolution image sensors to produce clear images at 2 times the resolution of 1080p cameras. These 2K cameras can record at 2688 x 1520 resolution in real-time at 30 frames-per-second (FPS). Compare that to the majority of competition, especially at retailers or warehouse clubs, those cameras generally record at 20fps or less. With such high resolutions, we have built H.265 compression into the camera to reduce storage requirements by up to 50% compared to older H.264 compression. The MTT4104 turret cameras have a wide 104º field of view, which covers vast areas with just a single camera, but it is not too wide that it is unfocused. This security camera is equipped with the best light smoothing technology made, including True Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), Back-Light Control (BLC), High-Light Control (HLC), and 3D Dynamic Noise Reduction technologies.
