Why Roast Your Garlic?
Roasting on your gas grill, over hot coals, or in your kitchen oven will draw out the best flavors of garlic, rendering the mellowed, aromatic, almost sweet garlic ready for adding to your favorite dishes, or serving as a delicious, simple spread for fresh baked bread, crackers, anything.
So easy to use – while preheating your grill or oven to 400 degrees, simply trim off the top from a bulb or two of garlic, toss in a little olive oil, adding some salt and pepper if desired. Place the garlic inside the garlic roaster and cook over indirect heat for approximately 45-60 minutes, turning bulbs occasionally during cooking.
