NET COVERAGE RATE:
- Coverage is dependent on the age, porosity, weather, and composition of the concrete. A definite coverage rate cannot be determined because every scenario is different. However, as a general rule, 300 square feet per gallon should be average yield.
APPLICATION:
- Dampen the surface with clean water. Apply the material with a pump sprayer and scrub with a nylon brush. Do not allow ETCH & CLEAN to dry on the substrate, as this will result in a white deposit that can only be removed with another application of diluted etcher. Once cleaning is complete, wash or scrub the surface with clean water, rinsing away all cleaning solution. Let the substrate dry (1-2 hours) before proceeding with the application of the stain.
All steps must be followed to achieve desired outcome. The color of the bottle may also be a different color than you expect, this is the stain formulation and it will render the final color after the reaction occurs and sealer is applied. Final colors will vary from color chart as colors may appear different on computer screen than actual stain.
