MEASURE Measure out from the corner of your wall and make a light pencil mark at 18” (the width of the roll). Put your level on this mark and lightly draw a straight, level, vertical line. This is the guide for your first strip.	CUT Using scissors or a sharp razor, cut your first strip to match your wall’s height plus an extra 2” to allow for trimming at the ceiling and baseboard. Loosely roll the strip back up with the printed design on the inside of the roll.	SUBMERGE Working with one strip at a time, completely submerge the rolled strip in a wallpaper tray or bathtub filled with water for 5-10 seconds to activate the adhesive. Make sure the entire pre-pasted surface is wet.


BOOK Fold the strip adhesive-side to adhesive-side, like a book. For some, it is easiest to gently lay the entire strip on the floor. Take one end and fold it to the middle, then take the other end and fold it to the middle.	HANG Position the adhesive-exposed portion of the strip onto the wall. Reposition or slide as needed to line up with your level pencil line. Once satisfied with the positioning, unfold the other half of the strip and stick to the wall.	TRIM Trim off excess material at the ceiling and baseboard with a straight edge and sharp razor knife. Clean excess adhesive from the surface with a sponge and clean water. Wipe seams one more time with a sponge.

HELPFUL TIPS

To figure out how many rolls of wall paper you will need:
- STEP 1: MEASURE IN FEET THE HEIGHT OF WALL × WIDTH OF WALL = TOTAL SQ FT OF WALLPAPER NEEDED
- STEP 2: TOTAL SQ FT OF WALLPAPER NEEDED ÷ 27 SQ FT (1 ROLL) = NUMBER OF ROLLS NEEDED (ROUND UP TO THE NEAREST WHOLE #)
When adhering wallpaper to your surface, consider overlapping each panel by 1/16" of an inch. This will help you avoid any potential visible gaps that might appear after installation is complete.
Allow each wallpaper or mural panel to dry completely before trimming. For best results, apply all panels at the same time, let dry, then trim all at once. Ensure each panel is properly adhered at all surface corners and along all edges to avoid gaps, wrinkles, or bubbles!
Line up and cut your wallpaper pattern before adhering to your surface. Don’t forget to include at least 1” at the top and bottom of each panel! This will be trimmed off later.
Using a pencil, mark the top of each of your wallpaper panels on the adhesive side with a “T”. This will make lining up the pattern and adhering to your surface much easier.
After you’ve adhered your wallpaper panel to your surface, cut off any excess print that exceeds 1”. This will keep your panel from being weighed down and potentially pulling away from your surface after application is complete.
Be mindful of potential panel shifting that might occur after you’ve smoothed out any bubbles or wrinkles in your wallpaper. Make sure your wallpaper pattern is properly aligned before moving on to the next panel.
