Teeth Whitening FAQs
Q: What if my teeth and gums are experiencing sensitivity?
Use of whitening strips can cause tooth sensitivity or irritation of the gums. Sensitivity to teeth whitening is temporary and not harmful. Tooth and gum sensitivity caused by whitening usually goes away within a few hours to a few days; then you can begin whitening again. If the sensitivity persists, consult your dentist.
Q: Will I see a noticeable change in the whiteness of my teeth?
Some people see immediate whitening after using whitening strips. If the teeth have a noticeable amount of stains, then it may take longer to see a change in color. It can sometimes be difficult to see the whitening effect when all of the teeth are slowly changing at the same time.
Q: Can I use whitening strips if I have dental work?
If you have dental work, consult your dentist before using. Solimo whitening strips will only whiten natural teeth. They will not whiten caps, crowns, veneers, fillings, bridges or dentures.
