For tacking paper to a bulletin board or other vertical surface, simply lift the top of the stapler and you're ready to tack. This stapler also easily produces pointed staples for temporarily pinning paper: just reverse the anvil by pushing and rotating the adjustable knob at the bottom of the stapler and press for a temporary staple you can easily remove. Swingline backs this stapler with a limited 1-year warranty.
