Plug the Wifi gateway into socket; then open the back cover of the device and pull out the insulating sheet.

Download ‘Govee Home’ on App Store or Google Play to your cellphone.

Open the app and sign up an account with your email address. You can also export the data as CSV format to any email address.

Click the icon '+' at the top right corner and select H5040 device.

Follow the app prompt to connect your wifi Gateway with your router(not support 5G wifi).

Name each sensor like Basement/Cigar Humidors/Wine Cellars/Greenhouses/Dog House.

Set up an alarm temperature or humidity; monitor the temperature and humidity as long as your phone has signal.


Govee Home App The app allows you to remotly monitor the indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity while you’re away from home; battery Level display and calibration are both available on the app. Alert notification will be sent to your phone when the data exceed the setting value.
