Step 1 If there is yellow tape on top of cartridge, please pull off the yellow sealing tape on top of the cartridge before taking off the orange cap. *Using tips: 1. Do not touch or remove the chips. 2. Do not squeeze the side of the cartridge as it may cause ink to leak out.	Step 2 (Type A) Lift up & Remove the orange cap on cartridge. *Using tips: 1. Do not touch or remove the chips. 2. Do not squeeze the side of the cartridge as it may cause ink to leak out.	Step 2 (Type B) Lift up & Remove the orange cap on cartridge.	Step 3 1. Insert the ink cartridge into your printer head. 2. Push Down the ink cartridge until it clicks. 3. Run an ink test.

Troubleshooting (Skip line, Clogging or Cartridge Non-recognition)

A. Once you’ve replaced your Canon printer ink cartridges, you should run a quick print test to make sure everything is working correctly.

If the ink comes out streaky, smudgy or missing color consult your Canon printer manual to check how to re-align the printheads.

Please run printer head cleaning or deep cleaning procedure 1 - 4 times. ( You can find it under your printer LCD screen or printer Printing Preferences on your computer).

B. If your printer can't detect the chip on cartridge, please try to clean the chip surface with pencil eraser.

C. Try another cartridge from same combo pack beacuse it may be caused by defective chip or damaged chip.
