Suggestion:
1. After placing the t-shirt face down on the folder, check to be sure the t-shirt collar is centered on the folder. Not doing this will give you a funky looking t-shirt no matter how well you fold it.
2. If your shirt is longer than the board, fold up the bottom edge of the t-shirt. Note: you can't fold the shirt any narrower than the center board is, but you can fold it shorter (from collar to bottom of shirt) if you put the top edge of the collar 1 or 2 inches below the top of the board, and then also fold the bottom of the shirt so that "blank" space at the bottom matches the top.
3. Be sure to t-shirt is perfectly flat, including the sleeves.
4. When you go to fold either the left or right sides of the folder over the center section, using your opposite hand, place the tip of your index finger at the lower edge of the folder, exactly where the movable piece and the stationary pieces meet. Then fold.
