Hitena's main lines are EVERY INCH BREAK STRENGTH TESTED UNDER ISO STANDARD AND RATED AS IT IS since we don't want anglers to oversize lines unnecessarily. Say, if we have rated it 20 lb, it breaks there. It's not like 5, 10, 15 lb rated all breaking at the same 20 lb. If you are more used to other brand's downsizing and want to have peace of mind, you might want to go for 1 (above 25 lb) or 2 (below 25 lb) strength higher with ours but our lines are still much thinner. As our strength variation is controlled very narrow during production, Hitena's main lines have less chance to break than others for the same strength in actual fishing. Also, Hitena's main lines are self-recovery coated to protect from external damage, and you may feel the line bleed dye in the first place but it's normal. Once this stage is over, they will fast color better than any other braid lines.
