Unique Design The open wire design of these shelves minimizes dust accumulation and allows free circulation of air, greater visibility of stored items and greater light penetration.	Fast, Secure Assembly SiteSelect Posts have a double groove visual guide feature every 8" (203mm), circular grooves at 1" (25mm) increments, and are numbered at 2" (50mm) intervals. A patented, tapered split sleeve snaps together around each post. Tapered openings in the shelf corners slide over the tapered split sleeves providing a positive lock. Shelf is assembled in minutes without the use of any special tools.	Choice of Finishes Super Erecta Brite and chrome plated for dry storage; Metroseal 3 with Microban antimicrobial product protection and stainless steel for corrosive environments; and attractive epoxy color options for merchandising applications.

The Metro 1860BR Super Erecta Brite wire shelf is made of steel and reinforced with wire trusses and struts for strength, has a chromate finish with a lacquer coat to resist dirt, and fits most Metro wire shelf units that are 60" wide and 18" deep. The shelf's open wire design permits air to circulate in the work environment, and resists dust build-up. The wire ribs on the shelf's surface run from front to back to facilitate sliding items on and off the shelf. Plastic split sleeves help secure the shelf to the shelving posts (sold separately). This wire shelf meets National Sanitation Foundation/American National Standards Institute (NSF/ANSI) Standard 2 for food equipment, dry storage and heated environments only. It has a 600 lb. load capacity when evenly distributed across the shelf, and comes in a pack of two shelves.
