First Harvest also called "Shincha harvest" in Japan means that our company harvests the tea at its most prime time. When green tea is harvested starting in May and going into the weeks of June, the tea produced is the most nutrient packed, and the most delicious.

Ceremonial grade matcha is made from the youngest " first harvest " tea leaves with all the stems and veins removed to obtain a very smooth flavor and texture. Our first harvest green tea powder comes from the hilltops of Fukuoka Japan where the conditions are prime for traditional and pure tea powder. Our Matcha Green Tea Powder is only made from the " first of the season " and hand harvested to use traditional methods and create the best natural first harvest tea available.

Culinary (cooking) grade matcha is the one you use to make matcha smoothies, shakes and bakes and usually lower quality tea.

Preparation Instructions :

Step (1)

Unzip the tea bag and scoop one 1 tsp out of the bag and reseal the tea pouch to avoid leakage.

Step (2)

Bring Water to a boil and then cautiously pour hot water into the same cup.

Step (3)

Stir Thoroughly taste when cool enough and adjust taste with additional powder as desired then enjoy!
