The Aputure LS C300d is the biggest and brightest light from Aputure. Winner of several awards (including Best Lighting Product at NAB), the LS C300d is a Chip on Board (COB) designed fixture with a 5500K color temperature that consumes only 300W of power while outputting 4451 fc of light with a standard reflector at a distance of 1.6'. In addition to power efficiency, this fixture also has a CRI rating of 95 and a TLCI rating of 96, indicating an accurate rendering of color.

If you purchased the first production batch of Aputure 300d (before December 2017), you may experience a minor issue where the LS C300d bare bulb may cause a very slight green tint at the edges of the light's cast. You can easily fix this issue by replacing a new filter that goes in front of your 300d's LED. Please just fill out Green Edge Filter Replacement Request form on Aputure Official Website, and Aputure'll ship you a new filter with the instructions and all of the tools needed to do so. With the new filter, not only is the green edge eliminated, but the CRI and TLCI ratings are now substantially higher. In particular the R9 is much higher than before.
