HOW TO EXTEND EQUIPMENT LIFETIME

STANDBY MODE

Utilize the standby temperature function on your soldering station. This will automatically reduce the soldering iron’s temperature after sensing it has not been used for the predefined period of time. The accelerometer in the iron’s handle will “wakeup” the station and restore the tip temperature upon sensing motion.

SHUT-DOWN MODE

Use the soldering station shut-down. Much like the standby function, the shut-down function will further reduce the soldering iron’s temperature to ensure maximum protection for the soldering tip.
