HOW DO YOU APPLY COLOR STICK?

In a swiping motion, lightly apply to troublesome areas. A little goes a long ways! Do not over apply! After lightly applying, work into facial hairs with brush or comb. May use your fingers, but it will come off onto skin (easily washes off with soap and water). Reapply as necessary. After desired look is achieved, apply Beard Gains Color Locking Spray to keep coloring "locked" in for an all day hold.

If you are using other products like our beard balm, you want to apply that first, then add your Color Stick and Color Locking Spray last. After your beard has dried from our suggested Color Locking Spray, you can then style your facial hair like normal with your fingers, comb, or brush.

HOW TO APPLY BEARD COLOR STICK


Make sure your beard is completely clean and properly dry before applying your beard color stick. Apply a very thin layer of color stick to your facial hair in desired area and spread out evenly to prevent clumping, running, and residue.	APPLY BALM IN SECTIONS This is VERY important! Apply color stick to needed areas in small amounts. Dry color stick, then reapply and brush through your beard. Repeat this process in sections till desired darkness is reached.	If your color stick is not properly dried and you over apply, it may become sticky, clumped, waxy or runny and easily get onto clothing. When this occurs, add a little bit of water and brush through your beard then dry again.	Drying your beard completely is crucial! If you do not follow these steps correctly you will not get the desired look you are going after and the color stick will easily transfer to clothing. Once your beard is completely dry and combed or brushed as needed. Apply Beard Gains Color Locking Spray for optimum results and all day appearance. This is not mandatory but it does help for a better all day hold and reduced residue.
