How does the propane Y-splitter tee work?

1. The black plastic part threads onto the Type1 propane tank and the two brass threaded "Y" fittings thread connect your adapter hose fittings onto your two devices. such as BBQ grill, gas smoker, gas heater, propane stove.

2.The propane Y splitter connects two regulators to one propane cylinder. It allows you to easily run two cookers on one tank. (NOTE: If you want to run two device and you should ensure your propane gas is enough, no less than 100000 BTU/Hour. when your propane tank has less gas flow it may be only run one device.)

3. The SHINESTAR splitter adapter have check valve in it, so you can run one side at a time. If your device has it's own control valve, you can only run one of those two devices.

The Y-Splitter inside thread have both connections:

--The New ACME thread valve-exterior clockwise connection. (New Style)

--The POL thread valve-interior counter-clockwise connection. (Old Style)

The two female ends accept QCC and POL fittings：

they have left hand thread on the inside and right hand thread on the outside.
They will fit QCC fitting when you turn clockwise. If you want to connect POL fitting you should turn counterclockwise.

The Y fittings thread has three ways of connecting:

1. One side is QCC fitting and on the other side is POL fitting.
2. Both sides are QCC fittings (New Acme Thread fittings).
3. Both sides are POL fittings (Old Style).
