Premium Stainless Steel

Our sinks are comprised of premium-quality, 304-grade cold rolled stainless steel. The stainless steel sinks contain 18% chromium and 8-10% nickel. Higher chromium percentages allow for quicker repair of the finish and give the steel its 'stainless' properties. The nickel content in our steel prevents our sinks from rusting.

Gauge

Select models of our stainless steel sinks are available in 14, 16, or 18-gauge, and feature a brushed-satin finish. Gauge size indicates the thickness of the sheet stainless steel the sink is made from, with a higher number referring to a thinner sheet. To offer the most durability, we are the first to make 14-gauge thickness available for residential use. 14-gauge steel is 50% thicker.


Sound Dampening For a quieter kitchen environment, sound-dampening padding is added to the underside of all our stainless steel models to reduce the tinny sound of running water. As an added layer of protection and to prevent moisture buildup, an anti-condensation spray coating is also applied to the exterior of the sink. This attractive, undermount basin is not the largest single-bowl stainless steel design available; but with its three-quarter inch corner-radius and nine-inch depth, it provides plenty of usable sink space in restricted spaces. This model is 304-grade, cold rolled steel, at the industry standard 18-gauge thickness. The surface is given a brushed-satin finish which adds to its luster and masks minor scratches which could occur over time. Dense, sound-dampening pads and an insulation coating are applied to the underside. With an overall measurement of 23" x 17 7/8" x 9", it will require a minimum-width cabinet of 24". It is cUPC certified. This listing does not include any accessories.
