I bought this vest so I could stash necessities in the pockets rather than carrying a purse. So far it's working out great! The fabric is a tad heavier than I was hoping for, but this vest is very well constructed and feels sturdy. I wanted 6 pockets, and thought I was "settling" for 4, but in reality, the lower pockets are doubles, so I got my 6 pockets after all!
