Use sod staples if necessary

U-shaped sod staple (Not Included) helps anchoring the fabric to the ground. Placing U staples about every 1 foot around the garden bed’s perimeter, and additional staples along the seams where two fabrics overlap.

Mulching

To cover with mulch which could be organic like shredded leaves, grass clippings, hay, pine needles, bark, wood chips, straw, sawdust, compost... or pebbles, stones, crushed seashells. Mulches can prevent excessive evaporation or erosion, enrich the soil, inhibit weed growth, etc.
