Game Changing Anti-Snap Technology
Let's start with this first. This was a HUGE game changer for elastic tubes back in 2011.
Regardless of the quality of the tubes (ours are excellent) all elastic tubes can snap. It happens because the user unknowing over-stretches the band. To minimize this we came up with our patented inner cord “Safety Net” system, to prevent over-stretching.
Back in 2011 we invented a new technology that would change Resistance Tube Bands forever. We set a NEW standard for user safety. It's an Anti-snap design called "Snap Guard", or DGS, and utilizes a super strong inelastic cord that lives inside every band.
This cord helps prevent snapping and injury in 2 ways:
1. It informs the user when over stretching the band as to enable them to correct the distance of the stretch, which is the leading cause of tears in the bands.
2. It prevents the exercise band from flying at the face or extremities in the rare case that the band does snap

Simply stated, it is a ridiculously strong internal "brake" system, which is designed to help prevent the # 1 cause of elastic snaps, over stretching. Snap Guard's purpose is to stop the band from stretching to a point where it will be come damaged and then eventually break/snap.
How Does It Work?
Snap Guard works by using a super strong "inner cord" that helps prevent a band from stretching beyond it's capabilities. The inner cord is braided material which has a minimal tensile strength of 150 lbs - that's some serious stopping power! The cord is about four times the length of every band and is securely attached at the ends.
