The JL Quad surfboard fin is a medium sized template, available in both FCS and Futures base. A highly functional template designed to cover a wide range of conditions and surfing styles. The JL's will provide increased drive and control down the line and through turns without feeling rigid. Apex Series Made with a high strength fiberglass called G10 which is made by compressing layers of fiberglass and epoxy resin. We machine foil each fin to insure the highest performance of any fin available, regardless of the materials used. these are stronger, thinner, lighter and sexier. Most similar feel to glass on fins.	Carbon Fiber Has one of the best strength-to-weight ratios of any composite material. On NVS fins, the carbon fiber inlay allows for increased strength without sacrificing fin responsiveness. using carbon fiber in combination with the honeycomb, resin transfer molding process yields durable light weight, high performance fins.	Bamboo Designed with both maximal performance and minimal environmental impact in mind. A natural bamboo core decreases the overall weight of the fins without sacrificing strength and flex. Bamboo is a more sustainable material than conventional fin cores.	Honeycomb Designed to deliver the dynamic performance of traditional fiberglass fins, while eliminating unnecessary weight. Our resin transfer molding process yields a light-weight fin that optimally balances flex, drive and responsiveness for high speed, performance surfing.

SeriesIII Foiling

The NVS SeriesIII Foiling utilizes specific NACA foiling to maximize laminar flow and decrease turbulent flow.

One of the key design features of the SeriesIII foiling is the more refined leading edge which decreases separation as water flows down the side of the fins. The thick leading edge used on most fins creates significant amounts of turbulence, slowing you down and causing stalling during hard turns.

SeriesIII Fins allow for quicker acceleration down the line and a wider angle of attack so you can generate more speed and keep the speed through hard turns without stalling or feeling vibrations from the fins.

NVS was born out of a joint venture between a group of San Diego and Italian friends, dissatisfied with the surf industry.

We believe that a vast majority of surf products are over-priced or under-perform and we decided to do something about it.
