About Threadabilities
Threadabilities is a small, family owned business in Lockport, IL. We started our apparel printing business in early 2018 with the expectation that we would create the designs and outsource the printing function. This was a way for me, a stay-at-home Mom, to earn income since I was unable to return to my previous career as a union painter due to the kids’ schedules. After quickly experiencing inconsistent quality with several print shops, we decided to bring the printing function in house, literally. We converted almost our entire basement into a fully functioning, state of the art print shop. What started as a simple idea for this stay-at-home Mom to earn income designing shirts while the kids were at school, has grown into a sustainable business with 6 part-time employees.
Quality and Customer Experience
Our goal, from the beginning, has been to provide Quality printed apparel that was Affordable and will result in a Positive Customer Experience. We only source our apparel from household, name brand textile companies. This provides us with the quality we need to meet our standards coupled with affordability. We do our best to avoid common mistakes many see in the printing industry, but when one does arise, we do anything and everything we can to satisfy that customer. We truly value customer experience over the individual profit on any order.

This I Paused My Game To Be Here shirt was the first product I introduced to Amazon and was 100% inspired through the experiences with my twin grade school boys and teenage stepsons. I guess I could have easily done a shirt about leaving toilet seats up, but chose this instead. As a Mom, I know way too much about breaking blocks, making tools, collecting skins, and pulling kids away from video games to attend even the most basic of events. I love this shirt and all of our boys receive many compliments when they wear it.
