Molded Outsoles

A two-piece sole with a high-traction moulded-rubber outsole and comfortable cold-blocking EVA-sponge midsole designed for outdoor use. The outsole is made of natural rubber and features an inner set of lugs designed for maximum any-angle grip and flex, while the outer lugs are designed for maximum lateral/medial support and wear. The spacing of the lugs and slight radius at their bottom minimizes build up of mud and debris on the outsole during use. The toe bumper rises above the toe line to protect the toes and support to the toe box of the boot. The rear bumper has a large rigid “kick spur” for easy-off convenience and maximum protection and support to the entire heel area. Lastly, the sole has a wide base in the forefoot and heel for support and stability on a variety of rough terrains.The non-pigmented gum rubber formula is soft and grippy on wet or dry surfaces. It mainly consists of natural rubber, making it more resistant to corrosive substances found in the barnyard.

This waterproof and self-insulating foam is naturally lightweight, buoyant and very comfortable – your foot and lower leg stay warm and protected in cold and wet conditions. In fact, they are constructed with the same material as deep-water dry suits. HYDROKOTE water repellent is featured on all Dryshod footwear products. The textile cover on the entire bootie is treated with a nano-scale hydrophobic coating that repels water and mud on contact. This keeps the textile exterior surface of the boot from icing up in freezing temps and from retaining water in the fibers in wet conditions. With HYDROKOTE, soggy boots are a thing of the past.

All Dryshod footwear is lined with breathable airmesh lining to keep your feet dry and comfortable. Airmesh is what keeps high-end running shoes cool and dry under intense use. Structured-airmesh has a top layer and a bottom layer that is held apart by thousands of tiny vertical fibers.
