"Selecting a bark potting medium that is high quality and drains freely is key to growing healthy orchids. Mediums made with low-quality ingredients can break down quickly, eventually leading to root rot. Some may even come with harmful bugs in the mix. Selecting a good quality bark provides a solid foundation for healthy growth."
