This program also puts farmers in direct contact with importers, which creates long-term sustainability. Peru is a South American country occupying a territory of 1,285 mln mi² which is ¾ of the size of the USA’s Alaska. The region has a fantastic location being surrounded by the Pacific coastline in the west and Amazon basin with its rainforests in the east; Andean mountains and deserts in the north and south.
