Whether you're camping in a tent or a hammock, the Adventure Top Quilt has you covered. It's two products in one. It replaces your sleeping bag and it's a top quilt for hammock camping. Many people find the Adventure Top Quilt much more comfortable than sleeping bags, because sleeping bags can restrict your movement and they're difficult to get into and out of. The Adventure Top Quilt solves these problems. It's generous size allows you sleep in any position whether you're in a hammock or a tent. You can regulate your body temperature by bundling up tight or by uncovering parts of your body, just like you do at home. If the weather is really warm, you can sleep on top of it. For colder weather, we've added side release buckles that can be connected to create a quasi hood. The top can be cinched up to create a tight seal that locks in heat. It's built-in foot pocket keeps it in place all night. The foot pocket can be adjusted by cinching it up with the built-in shock cord and cord locks.

For tent camping, replacing your sleeping bag with the Adventure Top Quilt makes sense, because when you're in a sleeping bag, the insulation on the bottom gets compressed and doesn't work. This is why tent campers use sleeping pads for insulation and cushioning. When sleeping on the ground with the Adventure Top Quilt, you'll still need a sleeping pad, but your movement won't be restricted like it is in a sleeping bag.

When hammock camping, you'll also need bottom insulation, like an underquilt or a sleeping pad.

Our Max Loft insulation locks in heat and is lofty, soft and compressible. It's synthetic so it can be washed and it won't lose loft in humid environments. The Adventure Top Quilt is oversized. At 7' long by 53" Wide, it's great for people of all sizes. It will protect you in temperatures as low as 20°F. Many factors come into play to safely camp in cold weather.
