Beyondtech high-quality ST to ST Fiber Patch Cable 50/125 OM2 Multimode fiber is specially designed for fast Ethernet, Fiber Channel, Gigabit Ethernet Speeds, data center, premises, educational, commercial, LAN, SAN and Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) applications. It supports video, data and voice services.

This fiber ST ST Fiber Patch Cord conforms with TIA/EIA 492AAAA and IEC60793-2-10 A1b standards and complies with RoHS specifications.

This MM fiber has an orange color jacket with a 3.00 mm diameter. OM2 cables have a 500 MHz-km bandwidth and a 2.3dB/km maximum attenuation at 850 nm light sources and a 500 MHz-km bandwidth and a 0.6dB/km maximum attenuation at a 1300 nm wavelength.

This ST to ST Multimode Duplex OM2 fiber patch cords operate at -20°C to +70°C and have a minimum installation bending radius of 5.0 cm and a minimum long term bending radius of 3 cm.

OM2 patch cords are suitable for backbone, riser and horizontal configurations.

Beyondtech created a Multimode OM2 50/125um Fiber Patch Cable with Future-Proof Speed and a Reliable Connectivity. This cable provides exceptional transmission performance and low signal losses. It has easy to identify white, gray and black boots with yellow (A, B) Plastic rings markers and also feature a Removable dust caps for a clean fiber and a great connectivity.

Zipcord patch cables also can be used for desktop connections.
Jacketed fiber is enclosed, with a bundle of flexible fibrous polymer strength members.
Our Standard Ferrules are made of zirconia ceramic, which offers the highest performance and durability of all ferrule material types.

Each Beyondtech OM2 50/125 Optical patch cord is individually and rigorously tested and certified to be within accurate optical insertion loss.

These Beyondtech Fiber optic patch cables come with an Orange color jacket to differentiate from the OM3 10 GB cables since they both share the 50/125 core. They work with LED-based equipment that can send hundreds of modes of light down the fiber.

OM2 has a core size of 50um instead of 62.5um. It supports 10 Gb Ethernet connections at lengths up to 80 meters but is more commonly used for 1 Gb Ethernet Applications.

Beyondtech OM2 fiber optic cables are available in a variety of optical fiber connectors including, SC, LC, ST and FC.
