What makes organic cotton different? It is absent of toxic chemicals used in commercial farming, doesn’t damage the soil, is sustainable, and relies on 80% rainwater vs man-made irrigation. Organic cotton is safe for sensitive skin.
Now let’s talk sustainability; where cotton is the OG of maintaining ecological balance. Cotton first hit the scene in Mexico and India over 7000 years ago! When organic cotton is harvested, the entire plant is used—no waste remains! Seeds are fed to animals or made into cottonseed oil for human use. Plant stalks get re-purposed back into the soil to fuel the next crop.
What about performance out in the elements? Cotton holds its shape and is actually stronger when wet. This is important because it absorbs moisture, like sweat, to reduce moisture build up between clothing and skin.
