Q: How long does it take to charge? Does it change colour to indicate it's done charging?

A: 4 to 6 hrs to charge (Use 5v2a USB adapter for a faster charging). Yes, it goes red to blue when fully charged

Q: Once it is cut will all the pieces still work?

A: You would need separately purchased connectors to reattach the cut piece. Without connectors the cut-off piece has no way to receive power, and thus will not light up.

Q: Is it safe to keep the usb cable always plugged in?

A: You can if you want, it's safe but I don't advise to keep it plug all the time because the battery gets hooked and then it can't hold any battery power unless it's on the charger all the time. The point of rechargable units is to let the battery drain as close to 0% as possible, then recharge them.

Q: Can it be used for outside?

A: The LED strip is waterproof (IP65), but not the motion sensor battery pack, They are not completely waterproof.

Warm white (3000K) or Daylight white (5000K)?

Warm White: It creates a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, which is commonly used in all areas of a house, particularly living areas and bedrooms.
