WHAT IS THE LAMINATED GLASS?

Laminated glass is a type of most safety glass, which is produced by bonding two or more layers of tempered glasses together with a plastic interlayer. The interlayer can keeps the layers of glass bonded into one piece even when broken, the pieces do not disperse or breaking up into large sharp pieces, keep the same shape as usual, leaving the surface clean and smooth, avoid injury accidents.

• ORDINARY GLASS: When break will shatter into large, irregular shaped shards, it’s very dangerous.
• TEMPERED GLASS: Stronger than ordinary glass, but will break and shatter into smaller, less harmful fragments, sometimes shattered spontaneously. It’s not completely break proof, this incident rarely happened but they do happen occasionally.
• STICK-FILM GLASS: Can hold the broken glass together in event of a breakage, but will falling into the floor in big piece, overwhelm the people. It’s not really safe enough.
• LAMINATED GLASS: If the glass is dealt with a high-intensity impact, one side of the glass can shatter without causing the other side to shatter. Even if the glass does break on either side the pieces will stay together resulting in a spider-web pattern rather than falling to the floor. Keep the broken pieces in a place, the surface keep clean and smooth, avoid injury accidents.
