Tip:

1. Blow up your balloons to different sizes. The more variation in the size of the balloons, the more natural your garland will look.

2. You inflate the glitter balloons, rub the balloon on the sides with a microfiber cloth and give it a quick shake, to create static electricity and the glitter will stick to the sides of the balloon. Otherwise, the glitter will stay at the bottom. Double knot the glitter balloons to avoid deflation.

3. Make your garland bendy. You may feel like your garland will be more full if you don’t skip holes — and you’ll be right. But, your balloons will be crammed together so tightly that you won’t be able to twist and curve the garland the way you want to.

4. If you can’t fit a balloon but still have some gaping that you want to cover, the kit comes with balloon glue. Just move on, then when you’re done; save a few balloons and stick them over the holes with the balloon glue.

5. Make it early. You can definitely make your balloon garland in advance. I think the safe thing to do is to make your garland 24- to 48-hours before your party.

6. Mix in other decor. You may want to scatter in other decor items in your balloon garland. you can added faux leaves, faux flowers and so on. Keep your garland inside if it’s hot outside.

7. Be careful not to over-inflate!
