Is it safe for my hands?
YES! We a distributor of USP Food Grade Glycerins and Glycols. This is the ingredient in hand rubs that act as a moisturizer for skin. It is similar to the formulas you would have in dispensers around cruise ships, theme parks and hospitals.
What is the consistency?
This is not a gel-based formula. Because of the alcohol content in this formula, it is of liquid consistency, ensuring that all surfaces are adequately covered.
Why does this smell different than other brands?
This formula may have a smell that is different than you are accustomed to. Denatured alcohol has an added scent to deter the consumption of the grain alcohol. This is regulated by Law. We have recently started using an improved source of SDA-40b alcohol that has an improved scent profile.
Does it come with a pump?
We are currently unable to offer this, though we are working on potentially making pumps available in the future. For those of you who may be interested in adding a hand pump directly to the gallon container, the thread pitch is 38/400 and you'll want a pump with an 11.5" tube to reach the bottom of the container.
