Most people associate being fit with being healthy, but that is definitely not the case. After being at the pinnacle of my sport making the Olympic trials, my health and performances began to go south, but I kept pushing through. My performances suffered and running became so hard I could barely hit times I ran as a high schooler. After being bounced around to different doctors for years with no answers, I was forced to take my health into my own hands. It was then I began to understand what it truly means to be healthy. I met my husband who taught me about other ways to investigate health and my whole life changed because I finally got some answers. It became my passion to explore complicated health issues and help athletes whose performances are falling off without good reason and help them find answers. There is a lot of misinformation and confusing information out there and it is my mission is help clear things up.
