The Hamilton Beach Stand Mixer is designed for hands-free mixing for a wide variety of foods ranging from light and airy egg whites to sticky bread dough. A powerful 300 Watt motor is great for everyday mixing and can even handle the thickest cookie dough. Planetary mixing action gives complete bowl coverage - the mixing head spins as it rotates completely inside the bowl, allowing better mixing.

Mixing action offers complete bowl coverage

Planetary mixing action means the mixing head orbits around the bowl as the beater rotates in the opposite direction for thorough hands-free mixing. This maximizes contact between the bowl and attachment, ensuring complete bowl coverage and better mixing than stand mixers with two beaters. Save time with this mixer, as there is no need to stop and scrape ingredients from the side of the bowl. The mixer stays in place with nonslip feet.

Special fold setting

Folding is a method used to incorporate more air into mixtures. Slowly add the ingredient to be folded while pulsing the fold button on and off. This is a great feature for folding in whipped cream or egg whites. Have added control with less mess when using the fold setting to add dry ingredients.

Includes attachments for a variety of mixing jobs

Three attachments offer mixing versatility to any job, from blending to whipping. Use the flat beater attachment to mix cakes, cookie dough, fudge, or potatoes. Kneading dough for bread, pizza or cinnamon rolls? Use the dough hook. The whisk is designed to whip liquids, such as a minimum of two large egg whites or one cup of cream. With this minimum amount in the bowl, the tip of the whisk is immersed into the liquid, allowing for enhanced mixer performance. All three attachments are easily secured to the shaft with a simple twist.

Cookie dough is one of the thickest doughs to mix. Make it easier by following these tips: Have butter or margarine at room temperature. Add ingredients one at a time, thoroughly mixing after each addition. Add flour one cup at a time. If the mixer seems to struggle increase the speed setting.
