How to Adjust the Headlights?

Step 1. Face the front of your vehicle 25 feet away from a wall. Make sure the ground is level and the vehicle is perpendicular to the wall.

Step 2. Measure from the ground to the center of the headlight lenses. Measure the distance between the two headlight lenses.

Step 3. Place a horizontal strip of masking tape on the wall four inches lower than the headlight lenses. Place the tape directly in front of the vehicle and mark the centerline.

Step 4. Turn the vertical adjustment screw until the top of the headlight beam is aligned with the tape on the wall.
