Premium Stainless Steel

Our sinks are comprised of premium-quality, 304-grade cold rolled stainless steel. The stainless steel sinks contain 18% chromium and 8-10% nickel. Higher chromium percentages allow for quicker repair of the finish and give the steel its 'stainless' properties. The nickel content in our steel prevents our sinks from rusting.

Gauge

Most of our stainless steel sinks are available in 16 or 18-gauge, and feature a brushed-satin finish. Gauge size indicates the thickness of the sheet stainless steel the sink is made from, with a higher number referring to a thinner sheet. To offer the most durability, most sinks are available in up to 16-gauge thickness, which is 25% thicker.


Sound Dampening For a quieter kitchen environment, sound-dampening padding is added to the underside of all our stainless steel models to reduce the tinny sound of running water. As an added layer of protection and to prevent moisture buildup, an anti-condensation spray coating is also applied to the exterior of the sink.	Accessories Our grids and cutting boards are custom-made to fit our sinks. The grid protects the base of the sink, while the natural cutting board gives you more useable work space. We offer two different strainers: the standard strainer has a removable tray, while the basket strainer features a deeper, perforated metal basket with a handle. Not just a single-bowl sink, this is a stainless steel gem in the trendy D-shape design. Durable and functional, it allows offset placement of the faucet in either corner. This model is 304-grade, cold rolled steel, at a 16-gauge thickness; 25% thicker than the industry standard 18-gauge. The surface is given a brushed-satin finish which adds to its luster and masks minor scratches which could occur over time. Dense, sound-dampening pads and an insulation coating are applied to its underside. With an overall measurement of 23 1/2" x 21" x 9 1/4", it will require a minimum-width cabinet of 24". It is cUPC certified. This ensemble includes one of our custom-fitted, natural cutting boards made from the dense hardwood of the rubberwood tree. Naturally resistant to moisture and mold; it features a groove along its perimeter which channels away any runoff. Our basket strainer offers a deep, perforated, metal basket, complete with handle. It sits inside the main body and holds considerably more waste than standard models.
