Wall26's magnets have been tested for durability by our own staff as well as our customers over the course of many years. Our reflective car magnets boast industry standard retro-reflective materials that will reflect all the light back to its original source. Stay safe on the road and ensure only those behind you will get your attention and not distract other drivers. Are potential passengers canceling your Uber or Lyft because they can't find your car? Our Uber and Lyft retro-reflective magnets will set your car apart from others on a busy street. 

Retro-reflection: retro-reflective material will reflect light back to the original source, therefore, may not seem "reflective at all" if looking at it from a different angle. In comparison, a regular reflective material will bounce light in all directions and matte material absorbs the light, therefore, having very little reflection.

Magnets & Cars: Many newer model cars are now constructed of lightweight aluminum to conserve gas consumption. Lightweight aluminum is not magnetic and does not hold a magnetic charge, meaning these magnets will not stick to your car. Please test your magnet on a true metal surface (oven, refrigerator, metal trash can, etc.) before concluding that your magnet is defective. 

Note to customer: Please understand that magnets have a polarized charge by default. If the magnet you purchased doesn't stick to your car -- or if other metallic items don't stick to your magnet -- there are several reasons that may identify the problem. 

• Newer model cars increase its fuel efficiency by utilizing lightweight aluminum material rather than heavier metals for its car panels. This would result in the panels having little to no magnetic charge therefor rendering our magnets incapable of attaching to your car. We recommend testing the magnets on something that is metal first to rule out the magnet being defective. These metals can be found on your washing machine, refrigerator, oven, etc. 
   
• Similarly, if a simple screw or nut won't stick to the magnet, it is more than likely the same reason why magnets won't stay on an aluminum paneled car -- the screw itself doesn't hold a charge. 
   
• Other magnets will also not likely work with this magnet, because there may be a polarity issue [ N | S ] [ S | N ]. This causes the magnets to "push away" from each other rather than attract to each other. This can be most notable by children's magic tricks in making a magnet move without actually touching it.
