The Flowline LV20-1201 Switch-Tek Mini-Float Level Switch with polypropylene sensor mounts vertically inside tanks to detect the level of clean water and chemical solutions, and the float can be oriented to indicate either a high or low liquid level. The switch has a dry-contact reed switch output that can be wired directly to a PLC (programmable logic controller), SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition), or other controller for monitoring. While the switch functions best in the vertical position, it can operate in most liquids with the stem at up to a 20-degree angle from vertical. It has a 1/8" male NPT process mount and a 2' long, two-conductor, PVC-jacketed wire for making connections. The sensor is Ingress Protection certified IP68 for protection against dust and immersion under pressure. Float-level switches are commonly used in manufacturing and water-treatment applications.
