History

During World War II, the soldiers needed a boot that was durable and comfortable to march the terrain during war. They wore trench boots which were given the nickname “boondockers”. The boondocker style shoe became the official working shoe of the U.S. Armed Forces during World War II.

Today we’ve transformed this iconic boot and given it a modern twist, while retaining the essence of its functionality. Given the appearance of a fascinating boot, how it is constructed is more than you would expect from a mid-century style shoe.
